Nautilus

Nautilus Chardonnay 2016 Marlborough
Quite an intense bouquet with a mix of ripe yellow and white tree fruits with a distinctive oak layer including toasty spices of vanilla, a hint of clove then a nutty butter layer, some cashew and hint of tropical notes. On the palate – ripe, fresh, lush and fruity with flavours of stone and tree fruit with a grapefruit and citrus layer, a fine wood tannin layer adds texture, contrasting acidity; medium+ weight and a lengthy finish. Always well-made, reliable and expressive example of chardonnay. Drink now and through 2025.
